ENArticle 1. Scope and information collected
This policy applies to website visitors, people submitting enquiries and customers using ECM Global’s services. Depending on the service and the actual requirements, ECM Global may collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, business information, transaction documents and technical data generated when the website is used. Collection is limited to what is necessary for the purposes that have been communicated.
Article 2. Purposes of processing
Information is used to receive enquiries; prepare quotations; enter into and perform contracts; process business documentation; provide customer support; receive and resolve complaints; and fulfil relevant legal obligations. Marketing activities are carried out only where there is a lawful basis.
Article 3. Grounds for processing and information sharing
ECM Global processes data on the basis of the data subject’s valid consent or other grounds permitted by law. Where necessary to provide a service, information may be shared to an appropriate extent with government authorities, Registered Agents, documentation service providers, technology providers and payment service providers. ECM Global does not sell customers’ personal data.
Article 4. Retention and data transfers
Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes of processing and statutory retention obligations. Data transfers or processing, including transfers abroad where applicable, must comply with the applicable legal requirements.
